Red Ribbon week this week! Here are the dress up days:

For Halloween: Please remember the following things: To help us keep our school safe, students need to be recognizable. Students are not allowed to wear face or body paint. Make-up should also not interfere with students being recognizable. Masks are not allowed. Costumes cannot distract from learning in classrooms (big blow-up costumes or other costume accessories that will be distracting). Please make sure the costumes follow the district dress code as well as the safe school guidelines to avoid costumes that contain weapons or facsimiles of weapons. Our DFMS Diamondbacks have traditionally made Halloween a fun celebration and it’s one we look forward to!

Every month, our teachers nominate the colleagues who go all in for students — and this month, Ms. Bridenbaugh put Ms. Stevens forward, and we couldn't agree more.

Ms. Stevens is the kind of teacher who sees every student as an individual. She takes her time with each one, meets them where they are, and genuinely cares about who they are and who they're becoming.

Congratulations, Ms. Stevens! Thank you for everything you pour into our students every single day.

School Spirit Dress-Up Week is next week!
